Country star Kellie Pickler bringing Nashville to KOP – From a small-town, dewy-eyed “American Idol” contestant who admitted on the reality show that she had never heard of the squid-based dish, Pickler has emerged as a Billboard-chart-topping, Grand-Ole-Opry recording artist who jams with Taylor Swift and is escorted on military choppers to entertain troops overseas.
