Kat Sings For Ring It Sing It

Katharine McPhee kicked off the Opening Bell Ceremony this morning, Live at NASDAQ performing her new song, “It’s Not Christmas Without You” for Blue Nile’s Ultimate engagement contest.

Katharine serenaded the winning couple from the NASDAQ stage just moments before contest winner Perry Whan proposed to his girlfriend. Early last week Kat helped Perry pick out the engagement ring.

In one of the photos, Kat wears the one-of-a-kind blue Sapphire ring, a replica of the royal ring given to Kate Middleton from Prince William once worn by Princess Diana.


Katharine McPhee Plays Cupid for Lucky Couple, Talks Shark Thriller

After taking a breather from all the romance on set, McPhee spoke with PopEater to talk about the Blue Nile contest and her new untitled shark thriller, directed by ‘Snakes on a Plane’ maestro David Ellis, set to release in mid to late 2011.

Vegas Honors World Aids Day with 2nd Annual Rock the Ribbon Concert Featuring Mya, Kimberly Locke and Many Others

This week, on December 1st, 2010, the 2nd Annual Rock the Ribbon World AIDS Day event in Las Vegas, NV is being held. This international event is hosted by Anthony Polimeni, the Founder of My HIV, My AIDS as well as Bobby Townsend, the current title holder of Mr. Philadelphia HIV/AIDS 2011.

After the awards show, the event will open to the public with an honoree cocktail reception in 8 ½ Nightclub at 9:00 PM. Sponsored drinks will flow all night long and the lineup of celebrities will start to build. The superstar performers will include Mya, Kimberley Locke, Dezmond Meeks, Julissa Veloz, Kristine Elejaz, Sir JET, Dawn Saint Pierre, Nomi Madness and many more.

Susan Boyle Will Play Herself in Bio-Musical

Susan Boyle, who rose to fame in 2009 via YouTube clips of her performance of “I Dreamed a Dream” on “Britain’s Got Talent, ” will play herself in a planned musical about her life, according to The Sun newspaper.

A U.K. tour of the musical is reportedly in the works.

The Scottish singer told the British newspaper, “I’m definitely going to be on stage. I’d rather that than having to sit watching people up there looking like me.”
