Simon Cowell Promises Big ‘Surprises’ on ‘X Factor’

“I’m going to make an announcement within three or four weeks, which is going to tell everyone everything. There will be some surprises, ” Cowell teased. He wouldn’t elaborate on those surprises, but did tell Terri, “Okay, one of the judges has quite long hair.”

The former “American Idol” judge also responded to exec producer Nigel Lythgoe’s comments that Cowell wasn’t missed on “Idol’s” new, revamped season.

Cowell said, “It’s childish, it’s disrespectful. I think bearing in mind what we achieved together, I wouldn’t have liked if anyone else said the same thing.”

Dancing with the Stars: It’s Anyone’s Game

In the weeks, days and hours leading up to the season 11 finale, the big debate among Dancing with the Stars fans was how did Bristol Palin outlast contestants like Brandy and Audrina Patridge, whose ballroom skills were superior? But in the minutes that followed Monday night’s performance show, it was clear inside the ballroom that Palin was just as deserving as Jennifer Grey and Kyle Massey of a shot at the mirror ball trophy.

Jennifer Grey’s “Dancing With the Stars” schedule has been so rigorous, she hasn’t even had the opportunity to go outside to receive any of that positive fan feedback in person.

“I’m really excited to finish, ” Grey tells us. “I haven’t been in the public for three months. I’ve been in a car, with my husband and daughter, in a doctor’s office or in the studio.”
