Casey James speaks! Read his message to his fans here. The season 9 Idol is currently in Nashville choosing and writing songs for his upcoming album to be released on Sony Nashville early next year. Casey’s brother will be moving out to Nashville soon to play bass in his band.
Rumor Central: According to a post on Idol Forums, Lee DeWyze is reportedly set to perform at the Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade, airing on ABC.
The taping is scheduled for December 2-4, with Ryan Seacrest hosting in Orlando. Idols have a long history of appearing at the parade, with winners David Cook and Kris Allen appearing their respective years.

“I don’t think people know how funny it is — it’s outrageously funny — or how sexy it is and how edgy it is, ” said Constantine Maroulis, the “American Idol” alum reprising his acclaimed Broadway role. “It’s maybe a little too edgy for some audience members, but we push it to the edge and then bring it right back.”
“Rock of Ages” comes with a parental advisory that it might not be suitable for children younger than 14.
“There are a few F-bombs and sort of borderline humor and definitely very scantily clad women, ” Maroulis said.

Simon Cowell’s fiancee has rejected rumours the couple have split – insisting she is still engaged to the X Factor star.
Friends of the music mogul say he has become increasingly cool towards his relationship with make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy. One close confidante even revealed it was ‘definitely over’.
But Miss Hussainy, who lives at Mr Cowell’s £4 million Beverly Hills mansion, told The Mail on Sunday: ‘I still love him and he says he still loves me and we are still engaged – as far as I know.’

Now lonely Mezhgan Hussainy has been spotted in a bridal boutique in pictures which may well strike dread into fiancé Simon Cowell.
Eternal bachelor Cowell, who once slated marriage as an “out-dated contract”, is in London immersed in his X Factor judging role while Mezghan, 37, is left to kick her heels at his £4million mansion in Beverly Hills.
After flicking through designer dresses at the upmarket Los Angeles store, Mezghan told the Sunday Mirror: “Of course I am missing him.

The Glee standout recalls that in July 2009 he was pictured on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter as a “crazy fan” (his words) outside the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince premiere in Los Angeles.
One year later — after becoming an overnight sensation with his cover of “Teenage Dream” on Glee — Criss found himself an invited star guest to the Harry Potter premiere in New York on Monday.
“It’s insanity, ” he tells THR. “A year ago today, I was a guy in line waiting with my buddies outside the premiere. Now I was an invited guest.”

Britain leads International Emmys with 9 nominees
NEW YORK — Simon Cowell’s kinder side will be spotlighted when the former “American Idol” judge is honored at the 38th Annual International Emmy Awards.
Cowell, who left “Idol” earlier this year to launch an American version of his hit British singing competition “The X Factor” next year, will be presented the International Emmy Founders Award in recognition of both his television achievements and extensive charitable work. The awards ceremony will take place Monday night at the Hilton New York Hotel.
“Here’s a guy who has really changed television, ” said Bruce L. Paisner, president and CEO of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. “He has taken the form of the television talent show, reinvented and repositioned it, and made it must-view television.”

Yoko Ono praises X Factor contestants on Beatles night
Following the show, Ono tweeted: “Cher & Katie – I watched you sing Imagine and Help! on #XFactor and thought you were fantastic! A big hug to both of you, love yoko.” (sic)
This was the first time The X Factor has staged a Beatles night, although Paul McCartney performed at the final of last year’s competition.

Stepping out for a fashionably midday event, Jennifer Lopez attended the launch of Gucci Children’s Collection in Beverly Hills, California on Saturday (November 20).
