Lauren Alaina to Perform at the White House – The Obamas will play host to a string of country stars – legendary and contemporary – Monday at their seventh “In Performance at the White House” program. Jennifer is gearing up for her performance this weekend at The American Music Awards. The rumor is that she will be doing a mash-up of two of her hits “On The Floor” and “Papi.” “I don’t want to give away too much, but I’m going to do a song or two,” she says.
Although, Jennifer did reveal that she will be performing with some other stars. She recently did a track called “The Hardest Ever” with Will.i.am from The Black Eyed Peas and Mick Jagger, which will appear on Will.i.am’s new album. Hopefully, we can look forward to a collaboration with these three at the AMAs!

Contestant Marcus Canty’s performance this week has had to be totally re-choreographed because Fox lawyers have banned his moves in the performance, branding it “too raunchy for TV,” a female dancer on the set told RadarOnline.com.

Hope Solo Emotional Farewell: ‘I’m Very Proud of Who I Am’
Moments after “Dancing with the Stars” said goodbye to contestant Hope Solo, “Extra” special correspondent Tony Dovolani spoke exclusively with the emotional soccer star.
“Tears are okay. I’m human,” said Solo, who was comforted by Dovolani.
Solo and partner Maks Chmerkovskiy had a few run-ins with the judges during Season 13. She explained, “I just don’t feel like the world got to see the real me, but that’s okay. ‘Cause I’m going to go back to my world where I can be myself and be respected.”

‘Dancing With the Stars’: Hope Solo Skips Post-Elimination Publicity Tour
The soccer star, eliminated Tuesday night during the semifinals alongside partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, did not get traditional exit tour which includes stops at that night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live and the following day’s Good Morning America.
It was not, however, her call. An ABC representative tells The Hollywood Reporter that the network decided to promote the final three competitors…
The soccer star only began an interview with Extra correspondent (and Dancing With the Stars pro) Tony Dovolani, before getting choked up. Her rep told reporters that she had gotten emotional and wouldn’t be able to speak with any members of the press.

Ricky Gervais back on board to host Golden Globes
Ricky Gervais will return to host the 69th annual Golden Globes in January, the Hollywood Foreign Press Assn. confirmed today.
Back in August, Ricky Gervais said that he had been invited to return for a third time, despite controversy over his scathing humor at last year’s ceremony, which some viewers felt crossed the good taste line.
