Exclusive! “Glee”‘s Ryan Murphy Discusses Darren Criss, Whether Kurt and Blaine Will Be Boyfriends and More!
AE: How is Blaine going to play into that?
Murphy: I don’t know. We’re just writing him now. Darren has become such a sensation in one week, which I love. I think there’s a hunger for him and a positive relationship role model. He’ll definitely continue through the year and longer. We just signed a deal with him, so I don’t know.
AE: He’s confirmed to be a regular for the remainder of Season 2 and next season as well?
Murphy: Yes.
AE: Is Blaine going to be Kurt’s boyfriend?
Murphy: I don’t know. That I have not decided. We’re writing it. I want to see what people’s reaction to that is. Part of me thinks he should be the boyfriend, part of me thinks he should just be the mentor. I didn’t want to decide that until we got into sort of the middle of the season. We’re figuring it out now.

Danny Gokey Marks Territory in Green Hills

According to a Facebook status update posted last night by an unnamed employee of an unnamed, upscale tea store — a tea-tery, if you will — in the Green Hills Mall, bespectacled contemporary Christian country singer and eighth season American Idol third place finalist, Danny Gokey, had an epic fail in the common courtesy department when he neglected to flush a store toilet after relieving himself yesterday. A screen cap of said update appears above. The names of the innocent have been blacked out, but the name of the accused remains.

Behind the scenes at Fox’s megahit series ‘Glee’
Music director Adam Anders not only prepares the music, but also orchestrates it, another gargantuan job. “I think this is the most civil you will ever see us because we are always fighting for time, ” he says. “We never have enough time, of course. But you gotta make it work.”
Anders labors an episode ahead of the others. “When they’re shooting, the music has to be done, ” he says. He works with a partner in Sweden. “We arrange everything … we take our cues from (co-creator) Ryan Murphy. ‘Do you want this to be a kind of ode to the original? Do you want a reinvention? What are we looking for here?’ We’re trying to serve the story, and we go from there.
“But, my whole thing is to kind of straddle the fence between what ‘Glee’ is – the inspiration and everything – and not going cheesy. And that’s kind of what I’m always trying to do. Because it’s a little bit of camp, but we never go too far. So when I do go too far, that’s the stuff you never hear.”
