Cee Lo Green Mariah & Nicki’s Beef IS BOGUS – “The Voice” judge Cee Lo Green is calling BS on Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj’s fiery feud — telling TMZ, we’re in L.A. … practically EVERYTHING is fake in this town. Mariah Carey’s Posse Cops, Bodyguards, Umbrella Holder – Mariah Carey got a full police AND umbrella escort on her way out of an “American Idol” photo shoot in Baton Rouge yesterday — ’cause the only more harmful than angry rappers are those damn UV rays. Carey had told Babwa Wawa that she bulked up her security team after Nicki Minaj allegedly threatened to shoot her with a gun during their blowup earlier this week … and Thursday she proved she ain’t messin’ around. Smash’s Katharine McPhee Talks Auditions, Anjelica Huston and the Nicki Minaj/Mariah Carey Beef – Okay, we just have to go there. Thoughts on the American Idol Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey beef? I barely heard about it today and I don’t know the details. All I know is there was some yelling that was caught on tape and Nicki went off. It sounds like it could be not a good thing, but their altercation will be great press, for sure. Listen, it’s gonna make great TV. If people know that now and it’s just getting started, it’s gonna be exciting. – Read more at PaperMag.com

Katharine McPhee on ‘Smash’: Sean Hayes, a Big Kissing Scene, and Dream Guest Stars – On how filming is going for the second season of Smash. “It’s really going great. We’re on Episode 8. We don’t air until next year sometime—they haven’t given us our date yet. We’re just plugging along. I think that the stories are just really great this year. They’re kind of refocused, and at the same time there’s more music—it’s going back to the heart of what the show’s about, which is the making of a show. So people really have an inside look of it. And with that comes a lot of drama. It’s just been really exciting.” – Read more at MinotDailyNews

GLAAD: TV’s LGBT Characters at All-Time High by Kimberly Roots – Thanks in part to series like NBC’s The New Normal and CBS’ Partners, broadcast TV this season will feature the highest percentage of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender characters ever recorded. GLAAD’s annual “Where We Are on TV” report, released Friday, showed that 4.4 percent of broadcast series regular characters will be LGBT this season, up from 2.9 percent in 2011.
