X Factor Blind Item

2. “Which competitor on a reality competition series is going to get eliminated before her real background comes to light? There’s plenty of dirt there, but the most interesting are the three past marriages she tries to hide, and a questionable performance for a very controversial figure. It’s the latter that will get her booted before she makes the producers look really bad and tarnishes the show. And she won’t be able to play victim here, because her exes are ready to step forward and there is video tape of the questionable performance. Naturally, she’ll wail and sob when it happens, but even her crocodile tears won’t be enough to save her.” [Blind Gossip]

Kelly Clarkson Talks Heartbreak

Do you see yourself doing this in 30 or 40 years?

God, no. No. No. I love music, but hopefully I’m like married with four kids. I love what I do right now, but I live a very single life. I’m enjoying that, but I don’t plan on doing this forever.

Are your songs autobiographical? Are you writing about actual guys in your life?

Yes. But most of the time, I’m not writing about guys I’m in a relationship with. It’s guys I’ve worked with—there are a lot of work things going on in my songs that just happen to come across like I’m talking about an ex.

Kelly Clarkson as strong as ever on new album

“Whenever you love something so much — and I think this is my best yet — I think sometimes when I think like that, it means no one’s going to like it, ” she said of “Stronger.”

A majority of the songs on the new album find Clarkson at an emotionally charged state. The sound straddles the line between big dance numbers and arena-rock bombast, which has become her signature calling card.

Clarkson calls the album “very intense” and said she felt she had a lot of energy and “soulfulness” to put into it. She likened each song to its “own little rollercoaster ride. Dynamically, vocally, that’s what I love doing.”

Kelly Clarkson Gives Her ‘American Idol’ Self Some Advice

“I think I can be a very serious person, so I think me taking everything so to heart … especially when I first started out, anytime I slipped on a note or forgot a word or I’d do something wrong, that wasn’t huge, [but] it was just like, it wasn’t perfect. I was very much a perfectionist, ” she explained. “And I fight that still, but I’m a lot easier now.”
