Han Hee-jun to perform in SoCal to benefit scholarships for disabled – “American Idol” and “K-pop Star” alum Han Hee-jun will perform in Milal Night at three Southern California churches from Oct. 17 to 19. The nights will benefit scholarships by Milal Mission, which aims to help those with physical and developmental disabilities. The 25-year-old singer said he volunteered with the program as a student years ago and feels it is an honor to stand on stage as a main guest. “I hope many friends and others who have given help can be comforted from me donating the abilities I have,” Han said Thursday.-Read more at Korea Times USA
‘Shahs Of Sunset’ Strike Over: Deal Ratified With Ryan Seacrest Productions – Just under two weeks after the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees slapped Bravo with unfair labor practices charges at the Labor Relations Board, it looks looks like everything is now over – in a good way. “The crew of Shahs Of Sunset voted unanimously to ratify a union agreement, ending the month-long strike,” said the Motion Picture Editors Guild tonight. Today’s deal was between producers Ryan Seacrest Productions and the Guild, sources tell me. While the show won’t make its original shahs of sunset strike IATSE ratSeason 4 debut date of October 13, postproduction on Shahs is said to be starting immediately. – Read more at Deadline

Danny Gokey Celebrates Hitting #1 – After the 45th Annual Dove Awards, some artists and industry folks went home to get out of their shoes and spend time with family. Others went to the official After Party and munched on delicacies like sliders, spring rolls, fried Oreos and fried Twinkies. Danny Gokey did neither. The singer had a surprise coming and what he may have thought was going to be a quite celebration with a few family and friends was actually a surprise #1 bash thrown by his team.
