Ellen DeGeneres suffered chest pains during a producers’ meeting on the Warner Bros’ lot … TMZ has learned. Someone from Ellen’s staff called 911, and the Burbank Fire Department dispatched a crew to the scene at 11:53 am. We’re told Ellen is doing fine. She was seen walking on her own after the Fire Dept. left.

‘Glee’ scoop: Matthew Morrison will make his directorial debut on episode 8
Now Morrison is adding directing to his resume. Over the weekend, during an acoustic set and Q&A at LA’s Grammy Museum for their Spotlight series, Morrison announced to the audience that he would be directing Glee‘s eighth episode this season. The storyline of the episode is unknown, but look for Morrison’s episode to air in November.

One-Time ‘American Idol’ Singer Jailed
Halperin — a one-time contestant on “American Idol” — climbed into a symbolic cage, likely gilded, at 5 a.m., Sept. 26. He plans to emerge at 9 a.m., Sept. 27, from the “jail, ” located at Dallas’ West Village, to coincide with the expiration of his “American Idol” contract, his artistic fredom, and release of his CD, titled “Rise and Fall.”
Certainly this tortured soul knew of the restrictions before signing the contract and taking a shot at idol-status. Bemoaning it after the fact seems somewhat akin to moving into a neighborhood adjacent to Love Field and complaining about the noise two days later. You kind of knew what you were getting into.
But, hey, enjoy that incarceration.

Carson Kressley Casts Queer Eye on ‘DWTS’ H8Rs
Kressley joked he isn’t in it necessarily to win, but to lose weight. “I’m trying to get down to my birth weight — nine pounds seven ounces — before the end of the show.”
As for his costumes, Anna is trying to keep Carson in check. “I wanted to do shorts and she wouldn’t let me. I would have shaved them, put some body bling on, ” said the “Queer Eye” star. Trebunskaya responded, “I thought maybe too early for shorts.”
