Lee DeWyze returns to Arlington Park for a Concert in September

Season 10 “American Idol” winner Lee DeWyze returns to Arlington Park for a special performance on Friday, Sept. 24 at 7:30 p.m. after racing. Tickets for this event, which dovetails Arlington Park’s live racing card and will be Lee’s his first solo performance following the summer-long nationwide tour, go on sale Friday, Sept. 3 at 9 a.m. Central time and will range in cost from $8 to $35.

ABC PICKS UP EMMY AWARD-WINNING REALITY SERIES “JAMIE OLIVER’S FOOD REVOLUTION” FOR A SECOND SEASON

The Emmy Award-winning reality series “Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution” has received a second season pick-up and will premiere later this season on ABC. In the new season, Jamie Oliver, the impassioned chef, TV personality and best-selling author, will bring the revolution to the nation’s second largest city of Los Angeles, CA and take on his biggest challenge yet. The series, which recently won the 2010 Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality Program, will run for six episodes.

In the inspiring series from Fresh One and Ryan Seacrest Productions, Jamie attacks the problems of obesity, heart disease and diabetes in this country–where our nation’s children are the first generation not expected to live as long as their parents. Jamie invites viewers to take a stand and change the way they eat in their homes and schools. The first six episodes were set in Huntington, West Virginia.

Ben Moody Speaks About Evanescence Split

In October of 2003, tensions between Ben Moody and Amy Lee, the founding members of blockbuster goth-metal band Evanescence, reached their limit, causing Moody to exit the band during their European tour. While Lee has hinted about all the “bullshit” that went on, Moody has remained mum. Until now.

In a post to an Evanescence fan site, Moody ended seven years of silence to talk about his relationship with Lee, the in-fighting that led to his exit, and the fans of Evanescence who attack him and his new band, We Are the Fallen.

Cowell ‘BGT’ discrimination case dropped

Britain’s Got Talent contestant Emma Czikai has failed in her attempts to get a tribunal case against Simon Cowell.

The 54-year-old was denied permission to start a case against Freemantle Media and Cowell’s TV company Simco for discrimination. Czikai claimed that her performance on the reality show should not have been shown because they were aware that she suffers from fibromyalgia.
