Reba, Trace and Kellie: Country Tweet-hearts
Apparently the country music world is as much a-Twitter about tweeting as the rest of the universe.
On Monday, as ABC airs the “CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock, ” some of the stars will live-tweet their thoughts about what’s going on and offer behind-the-scenes info.
The Country Music Association calls this its first-ever “Tweet ‘n’ Greet.”
Country fans will be able to follow live tweets from: Trace Adkins, Dierks Bentley, Lady Antebellum, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire and Kellie Pickler, among others.
The three-hour special airs at 7 p.m. Monday.

Hey there Everyone,
I know it’s been a while since I have blogged. Please accept my apologies. There’s actually been a lot going on. I’m sure you heard that I will be working on my next album with Randy Jackson. Well that’s true. We have been discussing the record and will hopefully start recording soon. Of course, I’ll keep you posted.
The next big and newest thing in my life is a television show. Yep! I am so excited about this project. It’s called “Making the Curve”. Calling all my voluptuous ladies!!!! I told you that I’m still a big girl at heart!!! This show is for the fierce and talented because we will be putting together a singing group of 3 to 4 women. I know, right? Why hasn’t this been done already? Well we’re doing it! I want all my girls to bring it and sing the faces off of America. Finally, a show that says come as you are and show us what you’ve got! We just finished a round of pitch meetings in NY and they went really well. So say a prayer and stay tuned. I will not only be hosting the show but I’ll be executive producing. So I am excited to broaden my career. This show will be amazing!!! I will keep you posted.
X Factor auditions go from the sublime to the ridiculous
X FACTOR favourite Danyl Johnson has got a rival – in the shape of big-haired Jamie Archer.
The 33-year-old who goes by the name Jamie Afro is so good on tonight’s show, he even has Simon Cowell singing along.
Which was more than Danyl managed as he wowed the judges last week.
Jamie tells presenter Dermot O’Leary he has spent years playing the pubs and clubs.
He says: “Music means everything. I’ve played in all sorts of horrible places.
Simon Cowell has lost the X Factor by ditching best part of show
ASHAMED as I am to admit it, I was properly excited to see the X Factor back last week.
That is, until it started.
‘What have you done?’ I howled at Simon Cowell’s ginormous head, which has now come to resemble one of those Easter Island statues topped off with a particularly resplendent bog brush.
‘You’ve broken the X Factor!’
Actually, Cowell appeared right at the start and apologised in advance in case the tweaking of the show’s tried-and-tested format didn’t work ‘ nothing like confidence in your product, eh Si? ‘ which boded ill.
