Boston ‘Idol’ concert delights fans
For the past eight years, the producers behind the ‘American Idol’ summer tour have perfected the art of putting on an entertaining concert ‘†this year’s tour is no exception. Even without Ryan Seacrest’s famous line (‘This’ ¦ is American Idol’ ) and the judges’ snarky or gushing critiques, the performers had enough exuberance to fill the TD Banknorth Garden.

Former Idol Phil Stacey goes ‘Into the Light’ with new Christian album and tour
When Phil Stacey was a contestant on ‘American Idol, ‘ he was pegged as a little bit country.
So that’s where the Harlan County, Ky., native ended up after the show, on the country label Lyric Street Records. In 2008, he released a self-titled debut.
But anyone who was paying attention and knew a little bit about Stacey could hear something in the twang: a message.
Phil Stacey CD Review: So Good It Almost Hurts
For me, a song is a good one when it makes me break out into a smile.
But with Phil Stacey’s new CD, ‘Into the Light, ‘ I smiled so much it almost hurt’ ¦
You guys know that I am already a big Phil fan, and this CD just cements that. It’s always great to see and/or hear someone doing what they are meant to do. And even though I enjoyed Phil’s country CD, Christian music is truly his calling’â€especially when he conveys his message in such a beautiful way.

David Cook & Dublin
The real question wasn’t why did David Cook get a dog despite the fact that he was on the road most of the time. The real question was what’s up with the name?
Cook recently acquired a Scottish terrier. So far, so good. Nice breed. Small dog. Fits nicely into a tour bus with an American Idol.
So, what does Cook name this beast? Dublin.
What?

Aug. 24, 2009 ‘†Carrie Underwood’s two albums have been certified for sales of more than 9 million copies, and she spent much of last year headlining a lengthy concert tour. It’s doubtful she’s hurting for cash, even in a tough economy.

‘Glee’ eyes ratings, chart success
Fox TV and Columbia Records knew they had something special when “Don’t Stop Believing” — from the pilot finale of “Glee” — shot to the top of the iTunes charts overnight and quickly sold 350, 000 downloads.
“Glee, ” which launches with new episodes Sept. 9 (the pilot repeats Sept. 2), is the kind of series that almost never works: a weekly musical.
