Diddy admitted on ‘Lopez Tonight’ (weeknights, 11PM ET on TBS) that at first he wasn’t interested in Simon Cowell’s judging job on ‘American Idol.’

‘America’s Got Talent’ – ‘Episode 518’ Results Show Recap

Howie’s got a new nickname. Piers would probably prefer giving Howie another nickname — maybe bad judgy Howie — but that’s for another bickering match between the two judges. Good thing Sharon is separating them, no?

The “wow factor” has been mentioned numerous time so far this season, mostly because Top 48 acts failed to show they had it. The wow factor is one of the most important criterion the judges are looking for when watching performances.

Did last night’s performances wow America enough to get a spot in the Top 16? The results coming up!

So You Think You Can Dance Recap: No Injuries!

Before I dive into last night’s dancing, I’ll say I know you all are already missing the ever-so-talented Kate Ward. This week, I’m taking on recapping duties, so let’s hear it for our mutual love of So You Think You Can Dance. Onward!

Last week, I was just as shocked as the rest of you when our judges decided to eliminate, uh, no one. Uncle Nigel said he was just as surprised as everyone else. Doubtful. This week, I was equally surprised when I learned that there were no injuries. (Well, except Jose’s minor groin injury. Ouch!) The So You Think You Can Dance gods have finally given our dancers a break. But I still curse them for taking away Alex Freakin’ Wong. Too soon, too soon.

“So You Think You Can Dance:” Ring that Bell

The night got off to a sexy start: Is it me, or is there a surplus of kissing this season? That was the theme of Kent’s cha-cha with Anya. It was funny seeing Kent portray a “bad boy” who’s hot for teacher (who wouldn’t be, if your teacher looked like Anya) but as he got into the dance it sort of worked. However, when Kent was actually supposed to cha-cha and not just play a character, his moves looked a little stiff to me. Mia and guest judge Toni Redpath felt similarly, saying they wished Kent had a little bit more flow and manliness onstage. Mia also chided Kent for getting too Kent-y with his face. While I’ve found Kent’s idiosyncrasies annoying before, I don’t think it was issue with this performance, and Kent actually stood up to Mia this time for making comments about his facial expressions.
