A realtor source emailed me and said Carrie Underwood and her beau Mike Fisher will be getting married at the Ritz Carlton at Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Ga., halfway between Atlanta and Augusta on July 10. She has rented out the entire hotel for friends and family, the source wrote.

Crystal Bowersox Will Be in Toledo, OH on Monday
TOLEDO, Ohio (WUPW) – Crystal Bowersox will be in Toledo Monday.
FOX Toledo has learned the American Idol runner up will be live on 101.5 The River (WRVF-FM) Monday.
According to Bill Michaels, operations manager at Clear Channel Toledo, the Elliston, OH native will perform on the Mary Beth and Rick Show during the 8AM hour.
The River will have a Crystal Bowersox autographed guitar to auction off with benefits going to tornado.

‘Idol’ Gina Glocksen back for St. Charles appearance
Gina Glocksen can afford to be selective about the gigs she takes, but it’s hard for her to turn down requests from kids.
Which is how she found herself recently singing at the Ashbury Alligators’ swim meet.
“I love kids, ” she said. “They’re so genuine, so sweet. I signed so many arms — they kept coming up to me with Sharpies.”
Mormons turn out for ‘Giant’ event
SAN FRANCISCO — Some 1, 800 Mormons and their friends headed to the ballpark for LDS Night at the San Francisco Giants on June 15, making this the largest LDS Night in the Bay Area since AT&T Park opened in 2000.
Brooke White, American Idol Season 7 finalist, and Showbiz, a local youth performing group patterned after BYU’s Young Ambassadors, entertained families during pregame festivities at the second annual Giants County Fair located next to the ballpark. And, sure enough, backstage at SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE this evening (Thursday, June 24), Cristina Santana admitted that she was having a bit of a hard time.
“I want to smile, but I am also sad because I wanted to stay longer, ” I overheard her saying to a few reporters just before we spoke.

Not gonna lie, I thought Melinda would be cut from SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE this week, and when I spoke with Nigel backstage last night, I told him so.
“Yeah, [that’s] what I would’ve done, ” he says in our video interview, which you can see below.
Having been outvoted by his fellow judges, however, that’s not what happened, and he’s okay with it: “You know, I can totally understand Mia and Adam[‘s decision to cut Cristina and keep Melinda]. We discussed it. All three of us went out there thinking we were gonna lose Melinda this week and then I suppose Adam talked them both into [saying], no, let’s lose Cristina.”
For Taylor Hicks, Gulf oil spill is personal
American Idol Season 5 winner Taylor Hicks has a special interest in the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
“The Gulf Coast area is where I’m from. My grandmother lives in Gulf Shores (Ala.). I would play in the Gulf Coast year-round. I know what a disaster this is, ” he tells USA TODAY’s Lorena Blas.
