‘American Idol’ winner David Cook performs at Six Flags Great Adventure
Any rollercoaster aficionado will attest that the greatest thrill of that particular ride is the dizzying highs and heart stopping lows — much like David Cook’s life for the past two years.
It seems fitting that the Season 7 “American Idol” champion, who made waves this season with a rocking version of Simple Minds’ “Don’t You Forget About Me, ” will perform at Six Flags Great Adventure at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Great Arena.

David Archuleta expected in Greece for the 2011 Special Olympics World Summer Games
Maria Shriver, who was snapped as she ran errands in Beverly Hills earlier this week, has touched down in Athens.
Shriver will be spending the next several days in Greece, where the 2011 Special Olympics World Summer Games kick off today.
Among the celebs expected at the festivities: David Archuletta, Nadia Comanici, Brooklyn Decker, Michelle Kwan and Vanessa Williams.

Fresh off a season full of cameos on FOX’s “Glee, ” Kristin Chenoweth is set to return to the network as a guest judge on the June 29 and 30 episodes of “So You Think You Can Dance.”
Megan Mullally and Debbie Reynolds precede Chenoweth as guest judges.
