Phil Stacey Sings at Riverbend
American Idol finialist Phil Stacey took the main stage at Riverbend for family night. Tuesday night’s headliner was Jars of Clay, but before they performed, Phil Stacey sang the national anthem.
He says he’s glad to be back home. Stacey sings in the Navy and attended Lee Univeristy in Cleveland. We spoke to many American Idol and Phil Stacy fans at Riverbend. They say they’re glad to see him back in the Tennessee Valley.
He says he was filled with excitement as he took the stage and thanked his fans for supporting him. Wednesday Stacey leaves to meet up with the American Idol tour.
Pop singer Daniel Powter to perform in Taipei

The two-time Grammy winner has broken ties with longtime manager Jeff Kwatinetz of The Firm in Los Angeles, E! News confirmed Tuesday.
“Kelly Clarkson is an enormously talented artist and we are pleased to have served as her managers in her well-deserved rise to stardom, ” a spokesperson for The Firm said in a statement. “We have only the best wishes and hopes for her in the future.”

As audience members quickly exited, actor Albert Silva-Flores grabbed a fire extinguisher and put out the fire. When the smoke cleared, theatergoers returned, and the show went on.

Have to admit I’m a Chris Daughtry rock chick, when it comes to last year’s American Idols.
Like other Idols fans, I was shocked when Daughtry lost that vote and ended up in fourth place.
He wuz robbed, but there you are, of late, he’s become the best-selling Idols contestant and he’s nabbed a role in a movie called Jumper, due out next year. Talent will out.
Of course, this is not to say that “soul patroller” American Idols winner, Taylor Hicks, couldn’t hack it, it was his country and western/bluesy/jazzy delivery which brought in his votes and this debut album, should please Hicks fans ….
For Stars’ Moss, it’s a rite of passage
At private Los Angeles-area high schools like Notre Dame, they don’t just hand out awards like “Most Likely to be Famous” to any old slacker in assembly.
They’re reserved for young Hollywood stars and starlets, Billboard Top 100 singers and top-tier athletes.
So, when Stars center fielder Steve Moss proudly pronounced himself as his alma mater’s honoree a few years ago, pardon the chuckle when he relayed the rest of the story.
His female co-recipient was a national sweetheart, last year’s American Idol runner-up – Katharine McPhee.
