Former American Idol Contestant Siobhan Magnus Announces Release of Her First Single on I-Tunes, “Beatrice Dream”

Siobhan Magnus officially confirmed the release of her first ever commercial solo track today. The 2010 American Idol Finalist will release the song entitled “Beatrice Dream” via her own website and itunes on May 1, 2011.

“I’m excited to share material with fans that I feel is truly me. I feel the song is a true and good introduction to who I am as a person to people who may have never heard me as well, ” stated Siobhan.

“Beatrice Dream” was co-written by Magnus along with Chaise Flanders. The title of the song is taken from the character of Beatrice from William Shakespeare’s Much Ado about Nothing, a character noted for taking her sharp wit and elevating herself from jester to righteously angry woman. The track is a product of the Cap Codder’s recent songwriting expeditions to Nashville, TN and is the first taste of an albums worth of material that is being worked on for release that is expected around Halloween.
