Glee Exclusive: Jonathan Groff Returns to [Major Spoiler Alert]!

Sources confirm to me exclusively that the fan favorite has closed a deal to return for this season’s final three episodes.

Groff exited Glee at the end of Season 1 when the Vocal Adrenaline frontman’s diabolical scheme to infiltrate and bring down New Directions was revealed. Next thing you know Jesse’s back with VA and Rachel’s heart is in tatters.

“He’s back to apologize to Rachel, ” confides a source close to the show, “and perhaps get her back.”

CBS to shift back to Luther Vandross’ version of ‘One Shining Moment’

When it came to Jennifer Hudson’s 2o1o rendition of the NCAA tournament anthem One Shining Moment, social media users and writers seemed to agree: once was one time too many.

Apparently, CBS heard the complaints and is changing course.

David Barron of the Houston Chronicle wrote Tuesday that the network will reinstate the late Luther Vandross as the voice of the song that’s played after the championship game.

The decision to save American Idol’s Casey Abrams from elimination sure was a polarizing one, but judge Jennifer Lopez insists it was the right move.

“We knew that it was kind of a radical decision because it was so early in the season, but to be quite honest…that is one decision that I haven’t lost one ounce of sleep over, ” Lopez, 41, told Idol’s Ryan Seacrest Wednesday during his KIIS-FM radio show.

Bucky Covington Loves Some Nashville Racing

Country star Bucky Covington, who is a big NASCAR fan, took a break from his “Hometown Tour” to drive a few laps and we caught up with him out on the track after “the Experience”. “I absolutely love the adrenaline rush of any kind of racing. I bought a farm about 45 minutes from here and I love this track.”

Bucky said he’s currently looking for songs for his new project and plans to make it the best ever. “Nashville has the best songwriters in the world so I don’t care if I wrote them or someone else did as long as they’re great songs.

VSA Tennessee celebrates 10 years of promoting creativity

Former “American Idol” competitor Scott MacIntyre is scheduled to lead a lineup of talented entertainers helping VSA Tennessee celebrate its 10th anniversary at a 7 p.m. performance Tuesday, April 12, at the Schermerhorn Symphony Hall in Nashville.

The 7 p.m. event will be the culmination of a day-long appreciation of VSA Tennessee, the state organization on arts and disability.

Tickets are $10, and can be purchased in advance by calling The Arc of Tennessee at 615-248-4878 or at the door.

Mike Catherwood and partner Lacey Schwimmer were the first to go on season 12 of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars — and the radio personality isn’t surprised.
“I’m sure there are a lot of past competitors that sparked a dancer within them, but I am not one of those people, ” he tells People. “If anything, the only relief that comes with being eliminated tonight is knowing that I don’t have to go back in and frustrate myself and Lacey with my horrible dancing.”
