‘American Idol’: Tune in tomorrow to see EW’s Dalton Ross!

No, he won’t be mentoring the contestants about how best to rock an ’80s sweater (though that would be totally awesome). Instead he’ll be featured in a segment on EW’s fantabulous March 28 photo shoot with Idol‘s Top 11. Noted photographer Art Streiber shot the very glammed up girls (one contestant sports a leather dress!) and suited-up guys (can you guess which guy showed up to the shoot wearing gold high-tops?),

Idoloonies: Saving Casey, Revising History, Praising J.Lo, and Seeking Contenders on Idol

Motown Week on Season 10 of American Idol was downright legendary. The judges saved Casey Abrams, while America saved Haley Reinhart. Stefano Langone took a tumble, while Idol history was rewritten before our very eyes. Hulk Hogan trashed his shirt, while Gordon Ramsay trashed his already flimsy reputation. Meanwhile, Naima Adedapo got her dance on, Scotty McCreery got his lean on, and somebody dropped to the ground and clutched Ryan Seacrest’s knees. My Idoloonies cohosts (one of ‘em all the way from Australia) and I discuss all of these dramatic moments, dish the season’s lack of a clear front-runner, give credit where credit is due (to Jennifer Lopez), and make a plan of action for Lauren Alaina.

Carrie Underwood cuts Brad Paisley duet

“Do you remember how it used to be, ” the two sing in the song’s chorus. “We’d turn out the lights and we didn’t just sleep/Remind me, baby, remind me/So on fire, so in love/That look in your eyes that I miss so much/Remind me, baby, remind me.”

Dancing With the Stars’ Cheryl Burke Joins the Anti-Chris Brown Chorus

“As a victim of domestic violence, I don’t agree with him coming on the show, but it’s out of my control, ” the DWTS pro dished to Extra.

But ABC’s not going to say that—or agree with it. Puh-leeze, especially with a TV performance that is about to reel in some massive ratings at stake!

Brown is set to perform two songs tonight, but he might have to introduce himself for obvious reasons.

Dancing With the Stars host Tom Bergeron asked show producers to keep him as far away from Brown as possible during his guest number on the hit dancing competition.

‘Dancing With the Stars’ underdog Mike Catherwood explains his enthusiastic new fan base

Catherwood can also count on support from a demographic he never knew existed: people who really, really want to sleep with him.

“The major difference, ” he says of his life since Season 12 started, “is that men and women alike are offering me sexual relations. People I’ve never met before, they’ll just email me or find me on the street. And they’ll be like, ‘Hey you want some of that?’ And that’s pretty cool.”

But not that cool. He’s quick to point out that he hasn’t actually taken any of them up on their offers.

Glee’s Mike O’Malley on Playing Kurt’s Dad and the National Song He’d Like to Sing on the Show

In the increasingly crazy world of Glee, Mike O’Malley’s presence is always a great relief. The longtime comedian shows surprisingly understated drama chops as Burt Hummel, Kurt’s blue-collar, auto-repairing dad who learns more about his gay son every day. On his days off, O’Malley keeps busy, working as a writer and producer on Showtime’s Shameless, acting in the Fox pilot Family Album with Rachel Harris and Rob Huebbel (“It’s about America — RIGHT NOW!” O’Malley says emphatically, adding that it won’t interfere with his work on Glee), and coaching his three kids’ sports teams. O’Malley spoke to Vulture on a lunch break about his chemistry with Chris Colfer, the phenomenon of the sex talk, and why he’s still proud of perhaps his most famous role thus far: hosting Nickelodeon’s Guts.
