‘American Idol’: On the Scene at Season 11’s Top 13 Photo Shoot – Just 48 hours earlier, they didn’t know if they would be in the small elite group of finalists for season 11 of American Idol. On Saturday morning, the 13 singers who made it into the last round of competition were already experiencing the trappings of fame, as hairstylists, make-up artists and wardrobe supervisors fawned over them, and as they spent more than 10 hours at a Hollywood studio taking photos, recording video promos, being interviewed by Fox affiliates from around the country and spending time with The Hollywood Reporter, the only non-Fox media present for this long day of publicity and promotion. – Read more at The Hollywood Reporter

Q&A: Chris Daughtry of Daughtry – After four No. 1 hits, four Grammy nominations and album sales of more than 7 million units, Daughtry is at that point in its career where it has to delicately balance the songs it wants to play live with those the band’s fans yearn to hear. “We’re trying to get in the songs that we want to play, at the same time make them interesting for the fans as well,” singer/namesake Chris Daughtry told SoundSpike during a recent interview. Simon Cowell, Adam Levine Feud Heats Up: ‘X Factor’ Boss Responds to ‘The Voice’ Coach’s Snub (EXCLUSIVE) – The challenge didn’t sit well with ‘The Voice’ coach and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, who promptly responded to Simon’s Twitter proposal telling Access Hollywood, “He’s so hell bent on competing with other shows,” and insisting that a preoccupation with the competition would degrade the quality of his own show. When asked about Levine’s characterization of his competitive nature during an interview with AOL Music, Cowell responded with a huge dose of sarcasm, “And of course Adam’s not! Give me a break. Give me a break!” Cowell continued, “It’s all very well Adam talking about it, but it’s got nothing to do with him. I was talking to the guys who actually own the show to see if they’re up for it, and if they’re up for it and the networks are, it’s a whole different ball game.” – Read more at AOL.com

The Voice: Tony Lucca on His MMC Memories and Adam Levine’s Special Brand of Mojo – This is how confident we were that Tony Lucca would advance through this week’s battle rounds on The Voice: We got a hold of him Monday morning — just as he’d completed a weekend performing on a rock cruise — to ask him if his missing facial hair would make a comeback in subsequent episodes, what really happened after Christina Aguilera failed to recognize her former fellow Mouseketeer (“Wake up,” Christina!), and whether or not coach Adam Levine is actually a loveable, cocky rock star (or just a cocky rock star) when the cameras aren’t rolling. – Read more at TVGuide
