Jordin Sparks Recharges By Walking

“Being able to get outside and not be inside where there’s the TV and there’s the computer and there’s your IPod is great, ” she tells me. “It’s nice to stay inside and it’s nice to walk around, and especially because I have my two dogs, I have to go outside constantly. Being able to go outside to walk with them and feel nature is great. It’s nice to be able to go and walk and feel the breeze and see the trees. It’s actually a nice gift. As soon as I get up and walk around, I automatically feel better, I feel more energized … it’s almost like I’ve been recharged.”

‘Rock of Ages’ Star Constantine Maroulis Talks ‘American Idol, ‘ ‘Glee’ and the Difficulty of Singing Journey

American Idol alum Constantine Maroulis continues his Rock of Ages cross-country trek, kicking off a two-week engagement at Hollywood’s Pantages Theatre beginning Tuesday.

Maroulis plays Drew, a wide-eyed recently arrived Los Angeles transplant looking for his big break on the lonely street of dreams: the Sunset Strip. He’s had the role going on two years, first in the original Broadway cast and now in the touring production. He’s also made no secret of his desire to play Drew in the forthcoming feature film, telling The Hollywood Reporter, “This is a part that I was born to play.” Ask just about anyone who’s seen the New Jersey native strut his stuff in ROA, and they’re likely to agree. Read on for our recent Q&A with Maroulis, and for ticket info, check out the Broadway L.A. site.

Simon Cowell Not Mad at Jennifer Lopez

Don’t expect any barbs to be exchanged, because – despite well-circulated reports from a London tabloid – Simon Cowell is not upset with Jennifer Lopez for signing on as a judge on American Idol instead of his new show, X Factor.

EXCLUSIVE: Paula Abdul ‘Devastated’ After Being Told Show Is Cancelled

Paula Abdul will soon be joining the ranks of the unemployed, once again.

An official announcement has yet to be made but a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com exclusively that Paula has been told that her reality show, Live To Dance will not be renewed for a second season – and the host is “devastated” by the news.

The 48-year-old spent the weekend in mourning at her California home after being told of CBS’ decision by phone on Friday.

“Although there’s been talk she may be asked to join Simon Cowell’s new X Factor show this fall, she’s not been asked. And because of the way she treated Simon when she left Idol… demanding more money than they were willing to pay… she fears her diva attitude back then will cause her to lose out on an X Factor invitation.

THERE’S GLEE-FUL NOTES BEING SUNG ON AND OFF THE SET

The FOX hit series Glee has to be one of the most grueling shows for an actor to perform on. Between all the singing and dancing, it has to be exhausting and so you’d think they’d rest up in between scenes, right? Well, not on the Glee set. Cory Monteith told us that’s not the case at all. They are constantly singing in between film scenes and goes on to tell us that some of the cast members are so close, some have even gone on to become roommates.
