Mainstay Productions confirms a college tour date for Lee DeWyze. They tweet, “We have one date so far confirmed for Lee Dewyze and that is March 23 at Sacred Heart University.” The college is located in Fairfield, CT.
The date has not been confirmed by Lee’s people yet.

‘Idol’ contestant not giving up the dream
Allen Lewis didn’t get his ticket to Hollywood, but that isn’t going to stop him from pursuing his dream.
The 26-year-old Franklin Furnace native caught the attention of Tri-State residents when he appeared on an episode of American Idol last week. Lewis gave what he called, “one of the worst performances I’ve ever given” in front of Idol judges, Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler, singing Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Simple Man.”
The lifelong musician said, “When I made it in front of Steven (Tyler), I was on an hour of sleep that day, fighting flu. I blew it all. I was in horrible shape. I cannot believe how bad I performed that day.”

Randy Jackson: ‘I try to give the truth’
Randy Jackson has laughed off the suggestion that he was being “mean” on last week’s American Idol.
The judge was asked during an appearance on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, which airs weekday mornings on KIIS-FM, about Jennifer Lopez’s suggestion that he was being “too mean” following one audition.
“Oh come on! Jennifer, come on, take it back! It’s not true!” he replied.
“I’m a very humble, kind, mild-mannered man and I just try to give people the honest truth, ” he replied. “We have to feed it to them the right way…”

Report: Madonna Planning to Take ‘Glee’ Cast on Tour
After ‘Glee’ paid homage to the Queen of Pop last year in a special episode showcasing her hits, including Jane Lynch’s unique rendition of ‘Vogue, ‘ it’s apparent Madonna became a fan of the musical comedy series, as she plans to take the cast on tour with her this year.
According to Britain’s News of the World, the blond bombshell is looking to embark on a tour with the likes of ‘Glee’ stars Lea Michele and Corey Monteith. She reportedly plans on using segments of last year’s tribute episode during the forthcoming concerts.

‘Glee’ Co-Star Says Matthew Morrison Compares Debut To Justin Timberlake
Jenna Ushkowitz, who was nominated along with her “Glee” co-stars for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, revealed to MTV News she’s already had a listen to Morrison’s latest effort.
Ushkowitz saw Morrison perform a few of his new songs at The Grove in Los Angeles over the weekend, saying, “He was amazing.
“We’re really proud of him, ” she said on behalf of her fellow “Glee”-mates, adding, “His music is really great.”

True Grit star Hailee Steinfeld made nice with Lea Michele at Sunday’s SAG Awards in L.A., officially squashing any awkwardness between the pair.
Steinfeld recently told J-14 magazine that their first meeting on the Paramount lot wasn’t so sweet.
When Steinfeld (wearing 1800s-style clothes for her True Grit audition) approached her idol (filming her FOX smash nearby) for an autograph, she was rebuffed.
