At BAM, So They Thought They Could Dance – Hundreds of dancers — some from as far away as Eastern Europe and Pennsylvania, even — converged on the Brooklyn Academy of Music on Tuesday to strut their stuff for celebrity judges and maybe just maybe win a spot on the Fox reality show, “So You Think You Can Dance.” A dancing duo from Armenia and Ukraine certainly got plenty of attention from ninth season judges Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy and Tyce Diorio, but Mr. Lythgoe made sure to at least pay lip service to the local performers. – Read more at NY Times
