Glee Project Winner Samuel Larsen Arrives on the Set of Glee (Photo)

Samuel Larsen and Chord Overstreet on the set of Glee

Glee Project winner, Samuel Larsen begins his 7 arc prize in Episode 13 of Glee. “Heart”, a Valentines themed episode, is set to air February 14.

Samuel has been on set all week and finally, today, he was introduced by Glee stars via twitter.

“Working with our new cast member Glee Project winner Samuel Larsen today!” tweeted Lea Michele (Rachel), “Get to listen to him sing today and he’s so great!”

“Can you guess who?” teased Dianna Agron (Quinn) with a mysterious photo, before tweeting the photo above.  “Y’all were right. It was Samuel Larsen. So here you are. Real Sam & Chord Overstreet, our show Sam. Sam and Sam.”  (Chord plays southern boy, Sam Evans)

Samuel joins Glee Project co-winner, Damian McGinty, who has been playing Rory the Irish exchange student since Episode 4.   Damian’s character has proven so popular, his arc has been extended beyond the original 7 episode prize.

No word yet on how Samuel’s character will fit into the plot.  Early reports had him cast as Puck’s cousin (Mark Salling), but co-creator, Ryan Murphy, could have something else entirely in mind by now.  We’ll see.

Fun Fact:  Samuel Larsen auditioned for Idol in Season 9, but was cut in Hollywood.
