The singer, who was said to have agreed a deal with Simon Cowell’s label Syco along with the three other X Factor finalists, has now signed a joint contract with Epic Records, The Sun reports.

The Forget Me Not Project

Playwright Garrett Davis has been writing and performing in his stage productions for over sixteen years. On January 25, 2011 at the North Carolina State capital in Raleigh he will announce the launch of a national Alzheimer awareness initiative beginning here in North Carolina, known as the “Forget Me Not” Project.

The “Forget Me Not Project” is a collaboration of celebrity talent sharing their personal stories about how AD has affected their families, along with a powerful nationwide tour presenting valuable information about Alzheimer’s disease in health fairs and workshops, complimented with a presentation of the play and concluding with a star-studded gala event in appreciation to family caregivers and care providers, featuring Ruben Studdard’s original song, “I Know It’s You”, written especially for this play, American Idol finalist Scott Savol , R&B artists Tony Terry and gospel artist, Melvin Williams, actress, Bernadette Stanis from the TV hit sitcom, “Good Times”, Bobbie Baker from “Madea Goes to Jail”.

The project is a 2-day event being held in cities across the country to include, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Norfolk, Nashville, Washington DC, Atlanta, Dallas and Miami. “American Idol” contestant Caleb Hawley hadn’t heard of the newest trend in dog fashion — putting sunglasses on a dog’s behind — but he’s sure heard of it now!

After we suggested the idea to Hawley on Thursday night, he posted a Twitpic of his dog Fargo wearing a pair of women’s sunglasses on his butt.

Before “American Idol” female wardrobe stylist Soyon An helped Lil Rounds discover her inner diva in a curve-hugging cat suit and Allison Iraheta sparkle across the stage in a pair of crystal-studded ankle boots, she was designing ordinary blue jeans.

“The first job that I got was to design as a private label for a denim company, so I designed jeans for the downtown market that they sold to stores like Forever 21, Arden B., BCBG, Bebe, all of those stores, ” said An, who was introduced to the world of fashion by an art tutor while she was a student at Hoover High School in Glendale.
