Kellie Pickler’s Wedding Gown: All the Exclusive Details

Bridezilla she wasn’t. When Kellie Pickler tapped Badgley Mischka for her wedding gown, she gave them total design freedom, she says. “I really didn’t ask for anything at all, ” she tells PEOPLE. “They just took such great care of me and did it all. I just stood there and instantly fell in love with it.” The feeling was mutual, say designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka, who told PEOPLE they’ve been fans of Pickler’s since American Idol. “She has such a pure, kind spirit and we were thrilled when she asked us to design her wedding gown, ” they said in a statement. “The classic ballgown silhouette is perfect for her amazing figure.”

Stryker Strikes Out: The Man Who Was Supposed To Be The Fourth ‘Idol’ Judge

As “American Idol” revs up for its make-or-break 10th season, all the hype focuses on the show’s return to its classic three-judge format, which notably includes new judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler. But I can’t help but wonder if a certain radio DJ in Los Angeles is still hoping he’ll be called in to sit next to J.Lo and S.Ty one day.

Allow me to explain. While most fans think of former co-host Brian Dunkleman as the “Pete Best” of “Idol”–aka, the guy who came painfully close to being part of a multi-million-dollar entertainment empire, and probably still dreams of what might have been–at least Brian made it onto the air for a few months back in Season 1. It’s really a radio personality known as Stryker, who works for KROQ in L.A., who’s probably covered with proverbial black-and-blue bruises from kicking himself. See, Stryker was supposed to be “American Idol’s” original fourth judge.

Reasons To Get Excited About ‘American Idol’ Season 10

But now, with the “American Idol” premiere only days away, I’m beginning to change my tune. I’ve started to have hope. Yes, I never thought I’d say this, but…I’m actually getting psyched about Season 10.

Why? Well, sometimes change is good. At the very least, it’s exciting, if only in a trainwrecky sort of way. I mean, I love reality makeover shows, from “The Swan” to “How Do I Look?” to “Style By Jury”…so why shouldn’t I be interested in the aging granddaddy of all reality shows getting a much-needed facelift of its own, right?

‘Glee’ Stars Stayed Up All Night For ‘Thriller’ Cover

“It was a huge production. We we’re shooting that until 6:30 in the morning, ” Cory Monteith told “AH” at the Television Critics Association press tour. “We shot all night, and it was probably one of the most physical numbers that we’ve ever done. I was lifting Naya Rivera at one point in the dance. It was really active. We had the whole USC band wrapped in to this number as you can see in the photos. It was awesome.”

Other songs featured in the post-Super Bowl episode include hits by the Black Eyed Peas, Katy Perry and Lady Antebellum.

Living the high life: X Factor finalist Cher Lloyd flies first class from Miami to hook up with Black Eyed Pea Will.I.Am in LA

She’s been famous for five minutes and didn’t even win the X Factor – but Cher Lloyd was flying first class from Miami to Los Angeles earlier today.

The wannabe popstar had been over on the American east coast making a start on her debut album, and was heading west to work with Black Eyed Pea Will.I.Am.

But considering the 17-year-old was a student prior to appearing on the ITV1 talent show, one can only presume that her record label or Will himself footed the £1, 500 bill.
