Kelly Clarkson’s Miracle Dog Story – So, I had an awesome New Year’s last night with some friends in Oklahoma and then I had to head back home to Texas this morning to get back to catch a plane and when I arrive home my sister calls me bawling saying when she took my two little dogs (Security and Joplin) outside to potty last night, the fireworks all around the area where we live scared Joplin so much (he is shy and skittish) he ran away. He is small, black (hard to see at night), and doesn’t bark so he doesn’t make a sound (because I teach my dogs that barking is bad) and also he isn’t even a year old! I lost it (like a little girl) and started bawling when she told me. Seriously, I was so dramatic (hard to believe, I know), but I don’t have children and they are my babies that I sleep with every night. – Read more at American Country Countdown

‘American Idol’s’ Steven Tyler on New Aerosmith Album: ‘It’s Written’ – “All of it’s been written but I’ve got to lay lyrics on it and I haven’t had a lot of time,” said Tyler. “What I’ve listened to so far knocked me out. I know a good song and I know what gets played on the radio. I’m not that pretentious to say we’ve got hits, but we’ve got something and that’s all that matters.” The Aerosmith frontman said guitarist Joe Perry is due to arrive next week so that they can continue working on music. As for the sound of this album, the band’s first in more than seven years? Tyler cracked: “It’s Aerosmith, how do you hide from my big mouth?” – Read more at the Hollywood Reporter

‘Glee’s’ Jayma Mays: Emma ‘Wants to Get Married’ – When Glee returns Jan. 17, Jayma Mays’ OCD guidance counselor Emma Pillsbury will be on the verge of receiving her third marriage proposal, but this time it’s from the guy she’s had eyes for since Day 1: Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison). While the duo’s path to becoming a couple wasn’t an easy one — Emma even tied the knot and split from her quickie marriage to John Stamos’ Dr. Carl — Mays tells The Hollywood Reporter that the impending proposal won’t either be a traditional or a smooth one for the two “love-lost creatures,” but ultimately “they’re moving in good direction.” – Read more at Hollywood Reporter

Chris Colfer Will Return For ‘Glee’ Season 4! – Insider: But before we get to either of those things, we have this week’s episode — called Yes/No — which features New Directions recreating Summer Nights from Grease. Which side does Kurt sing on? Chris: [laughs] He was with the girls — by my request. Originally he was with the boys but I called Ryan and said, “What do the boys have that Kurt wants?!?” There’s no way he’d be hanging with them. He’d be gabbing with the girls over sandwiches and mac & cheese. He completely agreed and I was put with the girls, which is great because I get to be Rizzo! Insider: Looking ahead to the other 2012 episodes, what are you excited for fans to see? Chris: I’m really excited for them to see the Michael Jackson episode – I wear a shocking onesie leather jumpsuit. I’m interested to see what the reaction is to that. – Read more at the Insider
