Burnell Taylor to sing national anthem on Monday night – Burnell Taylor is anxious to perform the national anthem for the Monday night game against the Miami Dolphins. The New Orleans native came in seventh place during last year’s 12th season of American Idol. Live Nation’s Artist Nation Launches G-Major Management – Artist Nation, the artist management division of Live Nation Entertainment, has partnered with music manager Virginia Davis to launch G-Major Management. Ruben Studdard Says He’s ‘Been Taught’ By ‘Biggest Loser’ Experience – Ruben Studdard didn’t even get one last pig-out session before making his way to “The Biggest Loser” ranch. “You know, the funny thing is, I was actually working the night before, so I didn’t get an opportunity to have a pig-out session, no,” Studdard said in a phone call. “I actually flew from a concert to the ranch. … I’m sure I probably would have had a piece of cake or something before I went up to the ranch for months and months.” – Read more at Billboard.com

Kelly Clarkson Credits Blake Shelton for Her New TV Gig – “They saw me on Blake’s Christmas special. So people will be like, ‘Oh my God, she was hilarious,’” Kelly told reporters recently. “And I think that’s one of the reasons why The Crazy Ones called is ’cause they saw our little skit.” So Kelly agreed to do the role because she plays herself, but Kelly says she ended up playing a much more sexed-up version of herself on the CBS show. “I get there and they show me the freaking script. It is not me. ‘Survivor: Blood vs. Water’: Rupert Boneham on His Big Sacrifice and Losing at Redemption Island – Boneham, who won $1 million as the winner of the Survivor: All-Stars fan favorite vote, currently runs Rupert’s Kids, an Indianapolis-based program serving at-risk youth. He’s set to open another location just outside of Indianapolis, in Shelbyville, in January.
