‘American Idol’: Candice Glover on New Music, ‘Idol’ Finale, Possible Reality Show – As far as new music, the soulful songstress said fans can expect a fresh sound that is “a bit more in your face” but will still maintain elements of her signature R&B vibe. “Music Speaks’ was an amazing album. It was my baby. Simon Cowell to Co-Produce ‘The Fifth Beatle’ as Feature Film Adaptation – IM Global and Simon Cowell‘s Syco Entertainment will co-produce a feature film version of graphic novel The Fifth Beatle. Vivek J. Tiwary wrote the screenplay based on his graphic novel based on the life of the Beatles’ manager, Brian Epstein. A director is expected to be named shortly. The project was unveiled in Cannes. Paul McCartney once said: “If anyone was the fifth Beatle, it was Brian.” A project description says Epstein “overcame seemingly insurmountable odds and personal demons while bringing the Beatles to the world’s attention and kicking off a cultural revolution in the process.” – Read more at Hollywood Reporter
