‘Voice’ contestant Luke Wade plays Stanley’s tonight at 8 p.m. – “It was a lot like that movie, ‘The Sandlot,’” Wade said of growing up in rural Texas. As a child, Wade was allowed to explore his creative passions because his artist parents felt that “living your dreams is the most important thing you can do in life.” With that encouragement, Wade became a musician. His journey eventually led to an audition for NBC’s The Voice, where he was selected by Pharrell and finished seventh. “Pharrell saw who I could be,” said Wade.
