Jessica Sanchez to spend New Year in Manila – MANILA — After staying in the Philippines for more than a week, singer Jessica Sanchez on Monday announced that she will be back here again in three weeks to welcome the New Year. “I’m just very excited to be here for New Year. I’m planning on having fun. It’s going to be a blast. I’ll get earplugs,” she said in a press conference. The singer said she will be performing a number of songs from her album “Me, You and the Music” at a New Year’s event. “I will perform in Eastwood. We saw pictures from last year and it was huge. I don’t know about opening doors. I know I wanted to push the limit farther than I was allowed to. The experience was amazing and I’m forever grateful for it, but I feel like I wasn’t allowed to go as far as I wanted to. There was just certain makeup that I wanted to wear and certain songs that I wanted to sing that I wasn’t allowed to. Reliving ‘The Sound of Music Live!’ with Liesl and Kurt – How was working with Carrie and Stephen Moyer? ARIANE: They were wonderful. Carrie was incredible; she worked very hard throughout this entire thing. Everyday I was like, ‘I’m tired, I’m sore.’ But then Carrie comes and and she had just been recording and [doing] interviews. It was very inspirational to work with someone who was so dedicated and never complains. Ever! And Stephen’s lovely. It was interesting seeing him switch between Captain and Stephen. Ryan Seacrest expresses interest in ‘Today’ hosting job – “I like live broadcasting,” he told Brian Stelter, new host of the new, improved, refurbished “RS, “and I think that, you know, morning shows have evolved. Former UK X Factor Judge Tulisa Contostavlos Facing Drug Charges – British prosecutors say they are charging singer and former U.K. “X Factor” judge Tulisa Contostavlos for allegedly helping supply cocaine to an undercover journalist. Contostavlos, 25, was arrested in June over allegations of supplying hard drugs after the Sun tabloid ran a story claiming she had acted as a go-between in a deal to sell cocaine. Prosecutor Baljit Ubhey said Monday that police will charge Contostavlos with “being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.” Contostavlos will appear at London’s Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Dec. 19. – Read more at Access Hollywood
