Kree Harrison Joins Santa Train on 71st Run – Kree Harrison joined the Santa Train this year as it made its way through Appalachia, handing out gifts through rural Kentucky, Virgina and Tennessee. The ‘American Idol‘ runner up first rode the Santa Train in 2001, when she was just 11 years old. “Being able to experience the Santa Train the first time was life-changing,” Harrison says in a press release. “But being able to come back 12 years later and see how much this event has grown, the number of families it helps and the joy it brings to these communities is truly something I will never forget.” – Read more at The Boot

And it is really stupid when people take s*** for the music they listen to,” Robichaud explains. – Read more at TV Line

A Minute With: Carrie Underwood climbs ‘Sound of Music’ mountain – Q: Despite everything you have done since first winning “American Idol” in 2005, this must rank as one of the biggest challenges you have faced. Why did you decide to take it on? A: It is just so different for me. I have never done anything quite like this. This is first time anybody has done a live musical on TV like this in a very long time. People don’t take on this kind of project any more so it’s really new for all of us. I love the fact that it is live. Even with award shows, it’s all smoke and mirrors and this is the opposite of that. – Read more at Reuters
