Carrie Underwood Avoids Holiday Shopping Crowds at All Costs – You won’t find Carrie Underwood anywhere near a mall this holiday season. “I do not do crowds,” she says. “Never have.” Growing up in Oklahoma, Carrie went with her mother to Walmart just about every Black Friday, and the experience seriously freaked her out. She explains, “I’d have to leave the store because I would hyperventilate and need to get out.” These days Carrie ends up looking for good deals online instead of in stores. – Read more at KTIC radio

Dancing’s Derek Hough: The Mishap Was “No One’s Fault” – Congrats to Alfonso and Witney! How great was the finale? Well, except for that set mishap! That was an unfortunate incident. Bethany and I were feeling good, the dance had just started and then that happened. It just goes to show that you can plan everything, but you can’t control everything. The camera guys couldn’t turn around and there was a whole set in front of us that you couldn’t see on camera, so that was all in the way. That threw us off a little bit, but we got through it. Bethany recovered really well. I know some of you are upset that they docked us for something out of our control, but I don’t know what the right thing to do would’ve been. I don’t know if it’s in the rulebooks how to score if a set malfunction affects you. It’s just a shame it happened during the finals, but it’s all good. It’s a live show and things happen. There are so many moving parts that if you think about it, it’s really shocking how this type of stuff doesn’t happen more. That really speaks to how amazing and fantastic our crew is. It’s no one’s fault. – Read more at TV Guide
