Honestly, where I have the most experience doing that stuff is growing up in church doing big productions there. That’s where I did a lot of my performing, but I never did it on that big of a scale. I’ve always enjoyed it and it’s something I’ve had an interest in, but it’s not something that I pursued later on when I started focusing on my own music. You make your choices—what avenues you’re going to pursue—and you can’t always do everything. But the fact that this opportunity came up so many years later is amazing, especially since I’m being able to expand on what I’ve been doing. Caleb Johnson Visits Children’s Hospital – ASHEVILLE, N.C. — American Idol Caleb Johnson paid a visit to Mission Children’s Hospital Tuesday morning. Johnson read to the children, signed some autographs and took photos with the kids. Johnson says he was honored to be at the event. He says it’s great being back in his hometown and bringing joy to people. Johnson served as the Grand Marshal of the Asheville Holiday Parade last weekend. Well, I think it changes from record to record. I think certainly, it is one of my favorites, if not my favorite song on Baptized would be “Wild Heart.” That song is certainly about my wife, so that one if pretty near and dear to me. “Witness,” has probably been my new favorite to perform live.
