The Military Family That Changed How I Sing “See You Again” – “See You Again,” a song I co-wrote and included on my last album, tells different stories to different people. It often means something different to each person who hears it. To many it’s a song about moving on after the death of a loved one—about wanting to see that person again, and knowing that eventually they will. But I never dreamed that so many would relate to it in such a powerful way. As soon as the album came out, I started hearing and reading the most amazing things. I would meet fans at shows or on the street, and they would tell me how long their spouses had been deployed. I guess, somehow, hearing that song helped them see the light at the end of the tunnel, and they could keep on smiling, knowing that their loved would soon be home. – Read more at Time

The announcement comes during a busy time as they recently launched their highly-anticipated, self-titled debut album. “We grew up in Oklahoma, the heartland of our great country, where our dad first took us hunting and fishing and taught us to appreciate the outdoors. We are living our dream.” As part of the NRA Country promotion, fans can make plans to join NRA Country and The Swon Brothers on Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11th at 7 p.m. ET for an exclusive online StageIt concert. PIPPIN’s New Heir to the Throne Josh Kaufman Dishes on Life After THE VOICE, Making His Broadway Debut & More! – How did Pippin come about for you? Did you have to audition or were you approached? The casting company actually contacted me through my website. The guy who runs my website contacted me over the summer, while I was on THE VOICE tour, he said, “Hey! So you just got this message through your website about being in a Broadway show and I looked it up and it looks like it’s for real… so we might wanna contact them.” And then it just went from there. They had me come out and do a work session at the casting company and then I went to see the show. Then they had me come back out and do another work session with Diane Paulus and some of the producers. Then soon after that they called me again and said that they’d love to have me do the show. I just came out a few weeks ago to get going! – Read more at Broadway World
