American Idol Season 7 Hollywood Week Wrap-up

Hollywood Week, filmed last week in Los Angeles, wrapped up on Friday. What do we know so far? Click on the jump to find out!

Meanwhile, Extra TV interviewed the Idol judges and this year’s pre-season talking points are basically, This year of Idol will be the best EVAH!!!

Says Simon Cowell, “This will be the strongest twelve we’ve ever had, and I’ve never, ever said that before.” Don’t make me google, Simon… Paula Abdul sez, “We’ve never had a top twelve like we’re going to have this season.” And finally Randy Jackson, “I THINK IT’S THE BEST WE’VE EVER HAD!”

Updates:

There is going to be a Top 50 this year (last year there was a Top 40, Season 5 and Season 4, a Top 44). The Top 24, who will compete on television for the Top 12, will be picked from these finalists in January.
