Based on 1 day sales, the industry rag, Hits Daily Double is predicting a 45-50K sales bow for Crystal Bowersox’s debut album, Farmer’s Daughter.
That’s slightly higher than the 40-45K Hits forecast for the Lee DeWyze post-Idol debut, Live it Up, when it was released last month.
Hits prediction for Lee was a little high–his eventual 1 week sales were 39K. But even if Crystal’s final numbers come in a bit lower, that’s still pretty impressive.
Final Nielsen Soundscan numbers for Crystal’s debut, which dropped on Tuesday, will be available next Wednesday.
