Blake Lewis and Elliott Yamin Set to Tour – American Idol alums, Blake Lewis (season 6 runner up) and Elliott Yamin (season 5 2nd runner-up) are embarking on a short tour in September. Scotty McCreery on ‘Southern Belle’: ‘This Is as Far Left as We’ll Go’ – The American Idol season 10 winner says his new single, “Southern Belle” is as risque as he’ll get lyrics-wist. “When my producer [Frank Rogers] heard it, he said, ‘I think we can Scottify this.’ There was one [reference to] hell that we changed. . . ” One song he co-wrote for the new album, “In Between,” is about his discomfort over fans considering him “a holier than thou guy.” Says Scotty: “I am human; I make mistakes. And I like to have fun. I’m just a regular guy. The [co-writers] said, ‘Yeah, you are not a holier than though guy and you’re not a party guy.
