Gary Barlow’s new talent competition Let It Shine proves victorious as it narrowly beats The Voice in TV ratings war – As Gary Barlow’s new BBC1 talent show Let It Shine debuted on Saturday evening, it was put in direct competition with The Voice, which has now moved to ITV. The Take That singer’s show, which features a group of hopefuls battling it out for a place in his new musical, attracted 6.3million viewers to The Voice’s 5.9million.
