Kelly Clarkson, Julia Roberts, and more celebs celebrate Red Nose Day – The biggest names in television, film, and music will come together to have fun and raise money for children in need during NBC’s fourth annual The Red Nose Day Special, airing Thursday, May 24 at 10 p.m. ET. Hosted by comedian Chris Hardwick, the telecast will be broadcast live from Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. The one-hour special will include Kelly Clarkson (here with Blake Shelton) visiting a local elementary school to celebrate students who are raising money for Red Nose Day, while helping them realize their power to make a difference and inspire positive change for children who are in need. – See the Photos at Entertainment Weekly

American Idol Finale Countdown: Caleb Lee Hutchinson — ‘I’ve Got Some Things Up My Sleeve’ – Percentage-wise, guys win American Idol more than women so how does it feel being the last man standing? It’s weird being the last guy. I’m out numbered. I haven’t really thought of it that way. Guys have done well in the past but the same could be said for a girl, so it depends what people want. I don’t think there’s a wrong answer here. I think Maddie and Gabby are both wonderful, talented and, obviously, beautiful young ladies. Kelly Clarkson’s “not going to read what’s on the teleprompter” at Sunday’s “Billboard” Music Awards – In an interview with Billboard’s Pop Shop Podcast, Kelly says the show’s producers “know me well to know that I’m not going to read what’s on the teleprompter.” She laughs, “Like, I will try — I will lie if I tell you I will!” What Kelly’s most worried about, though, is how she’s going to open the show. Usually, the hosts do a monologue where they poke fun at the artists in attendance, but Kelly doesn’t want to stand there and bust on all her music biz pals. “That’s the big thing we’ve kinda been working on,” she explains. “I mean, y’all, I’m not a comedian, so, like, I’m not going to be able to get up there and like make fun of a bunch of artists. Taylor Hicks, John Daly Share Love of Music and Friendship – On the surface the two men couldn’t be more different. Taylor Hicks, the American Idol winner and musician. John Daly, the bad boy of golf, known for his big appetite and long drives. Believe it or not the two are close friends. Tuesday, ahead of the Regions Tradition at Greystone, Daly and Hicks got together at Saw’s Juke Joint in Mountain Brook, music being the mutual interest that brought the two men together. – See the Video at CBS42.com

Golf course home in Charlotte, N.C., no longer hits the right note for Fantasia – You don’t get this much house for this price in Los Angeles, but North Carolina is another story. R&B singer-songwriter Fantasia Barrino has sold her golf course-area home in Charlotte for $465,000. Essential in buggier locales is the screened-in porch. Although the listing described the house as “in need of extensive renovation,” listing photos depict a well-appointed living space. The house, built in 1996, was purchased for $740,000 by Fantasia in 2004, the same year she gained notice on the reality TV competition show “American Idol.” – Read more at Los Angeles Times
