AR Native, ‘The Voice’ Finalist, to Release Album Friday – Arkansas native Barrett Baber will release his first album Friday. Since making it to the finals of The Voice on NBC last year, Baber said his life has been a whirlwind. “That’s a good way to describe it. Sometimes it’s a very strong whirlwind. Sometimes it’s just a slight breeze. But most of the time it’s been a whirlwind of activity,” Baber said. “Working really hard, on tour like crazy, playing tons of shows, getting out there, and doing everything I can to keep the ball rolling.” Baber sat down with Region 8 News via Skype Tuesday. He said to keep the ball rolling, he will release his first full-length country record.
