Nick Cannon Returns To Morning-Drive Radio Gig On Power 106 In Los Angeles – Controversial Nick Cannon is continuing his comeback, returning to morning hosting on radio station KPWR, better known as Power 106, a Meruelo Media outlet in Los Angeles. The Top 40/rhythmic station sidelined Cannon in July 2020 after he made anti-Semitic comments on a podcast. He will also continue on the Skyview Networks syndicated show Nick Cannon Radio. The resulting firestorm saw Cannon booted from numerous TV and radio gigs. However, Cannon managed to extricate himself from the cancellations wrought by his comments, apologizing and engaging in education session with Jewish leaders. – Read more at Deadline

Luke Bryan says he’s more proud of ‘American Idol’’s current season than any previous one – “I watched that premiere with more pride than I’ve had the whole [time] — because I really was proud of the show,” he explains, adding that he feels lucky to have come onto the show after American Idol had already spent years cultivating devoted fan base and setting high standards. “It wasn’t like they just passed the baton and it was up to [the current judges.] We got a great brand handed to us,” Luke continues. “But still, you gotta deliver a great show that’ll work, and I really felt like [in] the premiere, everybody was clicking.
