Take a look behind the scenes of our photo shoot with future country music superstar Chevel Shepherd.-Figuring out how and when to photograph rising country music star Chevel Shepherd for our feature in the August/September 2019 issue was no easy thing. There was a lot to schedule around. The winner of The Voice Season 15 had been busy fielding press requests, giving concerts, planning her upcoming album with the help of Voice coach Kelly Clarkson, and, oh yeah, still going to high school. Shepherd particularly loved the photo of her wearing a classic green Western-style dress and super-sassy red boots — so much so that she had her heart set on wrapping her new tour bus with it. Brian May applauds Adam Lambert, says Freddie Mercury ‘would approve, big time’ – “ADAM LAMBERT is only now beginning to be recognised by the greater public as the true phenomenon that he is,” he wrote. “Gifted with a voice in a billion, for himself he is a passionate and unyielding perfectionist. Gifted to us, he is the reason that we are still alive as a functioning rock band. And still able to take on new challenges. Plus … he’s nice. That’s a big deal when you’re a touring family. Brad Paisley Says He ‘Had a Blast’ Guest-Judging ‘People Who Do Crazy Things Well’ on AGT – “I had a blast. It was really fun,” says Paisley, who has judging experience from the short-lived 2014 singing competition Rising Star. “[AGT] is not only multi-generational, but we’re talking about multi whatever; I would say genre, but it’s not even genre. It’s beyond that. It’s multi-sort of category,” the singer says. “We’re talking about crazy magicians and singers, and then there are dancers and acrobats — people who do crazy things well.” “It’s an interesting thing, because when we first got to know him on TV, he got this reputation sort of quickly of being a really hard line, tell-it-like-it-is guy. But, when you sit there at the judges’ table with him, you just start to realize how much he just cares about getting it right. That’s pretty inspiring,” he says. – Read more at People
