Gabby Barrett Is a Little Nervous About Performing at the 2020 CMAs Pregnant: ‘Baby’s Just Crushing Your Diaphragm’ – Gabby Barrett may have been performing since she was just 11 years old, but the former American Idol contestant and rising country superstar has never given a performance quite like the one she’s set to give when she takes the stage at the 2020 CMA Awards. For one thing, it’ll be her first time performing her hit debut single, “I Hope,” with pop star Charlie Puth, who remixed the song in April of 2020. That collaboration came together virtually — in fact, it all started when the two stars began chatting on Instagram, and Barrett found out that Puth was a fan. They’ve never actually shared a stage, or even met. “Hopefully it all goes well. I’m having a hard time breathing, being in the third trimester, and baby just crushing your diaphragm — you know, all the good things!” she adds with a laugh. “But I’m really excited and I think it’s gonna come together really well.” – Read more at Taste of Country

Cheryl Burke Hints at DWTS Retirement Following Recent Fall: ‘Time to Hang Up Those Shoes’ – On Monday’s episode of Barstool Sports’ Chicks in the Office podcast, the longtime Dancing with the Stars pro — who is still in the running for the Mirrorball Trophy alongside partner AJ McLean this season — hinted that she might be ready to check out of the competition in the near future. “My hips don’t lie, and I’m starting to get tendonitis. For a woman, as far as ballroom dancing competitively goes, normally in their 30s [they retire],” said Burke when asked how long she saw herself doing the show for, after first joining DWTS in 2006 and participating in 22 seasons since. “I’m 36, so it’s like, ‘Okay, time to hang up those shoes.’ ” – Read more at People
