Interview: Morgan Wallen Shares Valuable Lessons From ‘The Voice’ Run – Morgan Wallen got his introduction into the music world by appearing on Season 6 of The Voice in 2014. The 23-year-old, who was eliminated from Adam Levine‘s team during the Playoffs round, is now in the process of recording his freshman album, and hopes to release the project soon. Simply agreeing to appear on The Voice was a stretch for Wallen, who grew up pursuing sports before he decided to take a risk and make his singing debut on national television. “I didn’t grow up being a performer, really. I played baseball. I never had a show of my own; my name had never been on a marquee sign or anything like that. Jennifer Hudson thinks everyone will be back for a second series of The Voice UK despite Gavin Rossdale thinking otherwise – The Dreamgirls star said she ‘enjoyed every bit’ of her debut on the telly talent show and wanted more. She said: ‘I definitely plan on coming back for sure. I enjoyed every bit of it. ‘I enjoyed the UK. I enjoyed being on The Voice and, of course, I enjoyed winning. I’m looking forward to coming back.’ And Jennifer thinks everyone will be back for another shot at finding the next singing superstar next year. She said: ‘I hope so because I think it’s a great line-up amongst us. ‘We all enjoy it, so I think so.’ But the news comes as rival coach Gavin Rossdale said he fears he won’t be returning after he revealed all the other coaches were in talks with producers – but he wasn’t. – Read more at Metro
