It’s like junior high on steroids,” the singer, 35, says in the current issue of PEOPLE. But Clarkson — who recently celebrated her new album Meaning of Life at the iHeartRadio Album Release Party with Kelly Clarkson at the iHeartRadio Theater in Los Angeles — says she uses her experience with online haters to serve as an example for her 16-year-old stepdaughter, Savannah. “I just say, ‘You see all this stuff that gets said about me all the time? Ruben Studdard: Detroit music was a big part of life – Studdard recently performed in a tribute to the Temptations, honoring Alabama’s bicentennial and original Temptations members Eddie Kendricks and Paul Williams, who grew up in the Birmingham neighborhood of Ensley. “We feel connected to that story,” Studdard says. “Alabamians were part of the upswing of Motown and its musical journey.” Studdard, a self-described music historian, fulfilled a longtime goal earlier this year when he visited the Motown Museum for the first time. ‘The Voice’ winner Jordan Smith bringing holiday spirit to Macy’s tree lighting in Chicago – For “The Voice” Season 9 winner Jordan Smith, Halloween is just one more day he has to endure each year to get to Christmas. “It’s a little early — I know it’s November — but I’ve already started listening to Christmas music,” Smith said in a phone interview with the Tribune. “Usually I start as soon as Halloween is over. Nov. 1, I wake up in the morning, start getting ready and I put on the Christmas music because I love the music, I love this time of year. Chris Mann makes his own music of the night – Singer-actor Chris Mann, who makes his Feinstein’s at the Nikko debut this week, laughs self-deprecatingly at the irony of it: “Thank you?” he says, his voice rising to a question. “Isn’t it interesting?
