I’m getting a lot of love and support, which feels overwhelming. At first, I was not feeling okay, not looking okay, and just not doing okay. I wanted to be stable when I decided to tell people what was going on, and confident, and positive that everything was going to be okay, because I wasn’t two months ago. You were out in Los Angeles before any of this happened. You were out there hiking up mountains. I was in L.A. doing press for “La La Land” and recording. I was climbing mountains with (American Idol Season 9 alum) Didi Benami. I was doing everything out there, and it was just a lot. But I was not myself. It took a lot every day for me to kind of just wake up every morning and start my day. I was in a really dark, dark place.
