David Archuleta to headline BYU Spectacular – David Archuleta will be the featured guest at BYU Spectacular on Oct. 8 and 9 in the Marriott Center. Fantasia Recruits R. Kelly for her Fifth Album – American Idol season 3 winner, Fantasia, is back in the studio working on her fifth album. The singer uploaded photos to her instagram, thanking R&B star, R. Kelly, for “pushing me.” Fantasia is bringing back producer Harmony Samuels who executive produced her previous album, Side Effects of You. Check out the photos at RatedR&B.com

Justin Guarini introduced NYMF artists including The Voice and America Idol’s Jon Peter Lewis. – American Idol season 1 runner-up, Justin Guarini, introduced artists participating in the 2015 New York Musical Theater Festival Event yesterday. Jon Peter Lewis appeared at the press conference to debut a song, “How it Feel” from the NYMF show, Deep Love, A Ghostly Rock Opera, in which JPL co-wrote and stars. Ryan Hays, his Midas Whale partner, conceived and co-wrote the production. The show opens July 17 at the Pershing Square Signature Center, New York City. Cassadee Pope reveals the lessons she’s learned from her The Voice coach, Blake Shelton. – “I’ve learned to be respectful,” Pope Cassadee told The Boot. “I’ve always believed if you’re nice to people then things will happen. But especially in country music, I’ve met some of the nicest people, and they’ve been some of the biggest stars.” She continued, “Like Blake Shelton, on The Voice, he was just so nice to every person he ever came in contact with, and he’s the busiest guy ever. He has every right to be grumpy some days — he gets up really early — but he’s not. It reminds me to treat others the way you want to be treated.”

X Factor UK Auditions Begin in Manchester – Auditions were postponed for a few days due to the death of Simon Cowell’s mother over the weekend. The auditions kicked off in Manchester on Wednesday. ”  After huge cheers from the audience, Simon said “This was my mum’s favourite show so I’m doing it in memory of her.”  Fellow judge, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini added: “We’re so pleased Simon’s here.
