Billboard’s 2022 Women In Music Awards – Gabby Barrett to receive Rising Star – Billboard‘s 2022 Women in Music Awards are returning to Los Angeles. This year’s event, hosted by Ciara, will take place March 2 at the YouTube Theater at L.A.’s Hollywood Park and for the first time ever, tickets to attend the Women in Music Awards will be available to the public. Tickets will go on sale in February. The annual Women in Music event recognizes music’s top female artists, producers and executives for their contributions to music industry and their communities. Liam Payne Reveals He Had COVID-19, Reschedules ‘Here’s to the Future’ Show – Liam Payne has postponed his Here’s to the Future virtual showcase, originally scheduled for Jan. 29, due to COVID-19. The star took to Instagram on Wednesday (Jan. 26) to reveal, ‘Unfortunately I had COVID and will not be ready in time to give you the show you all deserve.” Payne did, however, have some “extra special” news for his fans, announcing that they’ve rescheduled the show for Feb. 12, “just in time for Valentine’s Day.” The tickets from the original show remain valid for the upcoming date. – Read more at Billboard

‘Voice’ win boosts Girl Named Tom leading up to Van Wert show – The trio, originally from Pettisville in Fulton County, punched their ticket to stardom by seizing the top prize — to the tune of $100,000 — on NBC’s “The Voice” in December. Bekah, Caleb and Josh Liechty boast the distinction of being the first group to win the televised competition that has aired for 21 seasons. “It built our confidence and proved that we can connect with other people,” Bekah said during a phone interview Tuesday. “Now we can share our views and music even farther.” Girl Named Tom is returning to Ohio for concerts this weekend, including a pair Saturday at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center in Van Wert.
